Akela
Clark
September 16, 2018 – November 11, 2025
Akela, the beloved seven-year-old French Bulldog of the Clark family, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
Her mom had always dreamed of having a Frenchie and that dream came true! Akela was born on September 16, 2018 and was the cutest puppy her mom had ever seen. Her little body with those big ears sticking up - she could even fit in your pocket. From the moment she came home, she would always sit on her family's feet instead of on the floor. She would get so excited over things and dart around the house, building so much speed with each lap. She would slide on the floors and could not stop herself. Akela could not control her excitement when company would come over but everyone loved her! She loved to play with anything that squeaked, toys that made a crumbling noise, water bottles, and of course, with her people! She loved a good game of tug-of-war or fetch (even though she thought it was funny to not give it back).
If she had it her way, she would have slept in mom and dad's bed every night but she also enjoyed many naps on the couch or on her bed in the living room. The winter snow often brought so much joy to Akela as she would run as fast as she could through it. Her family is going to miss watching her run around the house, hearing her nails hit the hardwood like she's tap dancing, all the snorting sounds she made, the over excitement when you would pet her, and everything else in between! Akela was truly the best fur baby anyone could ask for. The Clark home will never be the same. Your family loves you Akela puppy! You are so deeply missed already.
