Cosette, the beloved fifteen year old Pomeranian-Dachsund of the Cavazos family, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Often you could find Cosette playing with her stuffed animals, especially her avocado, burrowing under blankets, begging for food, or taking a nap in the sunbeams. She often acted as a better timer for dinner than any of the other alarms in the house. While she never chased chickens, she once got attacked by a hen for causing fuss in the coop. Cosette loved stealing and sleeping in the fluffiest blanket around, eating peach rings which her family often shared, and occasionally would catch a rat. She loved meeting new people but her master was always number one.

Cosette will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
