Rocky, also known as Bark-Bark, Bubba, Bub, Rockydoo, and Rockum-Sockum, was a superstar. Known as  the "Cragmont Street Ambassador", he greeted everyone he could, especially children. There were no strangers, just friends he hadn't met before. He came to live with his Grandma Debi a few years ago. His purpose was to take her for walks, love her unconditionally and introduce her to people. Mission accomplished!

Rocky patrolled our neighborhood, checking on us. He took himself for walks when Debi was unable to due to health issues…such a smart dog! He would lay on Gene and Carolyn's front porch, he loved our neighbors and missed his best dog friend, Yurii. He visited them daily to show his love and get his treats.

Rocky loved his life in St. Louis too, going to the St Louis Basset Society functions, the Purina dog fun days…kind of doing a flag chasing run. Having his own doggie door entrance, playing "Bassetball", basking in the sun on his outdoor cot, playing in the leaves and barking at whatever he wanted to.

Rocky loved Bella and Lily beyond measure. He was always so excited to be around them, in person or on FaceTime, to accept the many treats, especially animal crackers, from them and simply to love them. Baby Gabe was born  premature and was in heaven waiting for Rocky, they are best buds now, running, playing, napping, loving and enjoying each other.`

You may think Rocky had a spoiled life, but Rocky gave us much more than we could ever give him. We were blessed to have Rocky Top Honaker in our lives. He was born on Valentines Day, he was born for love, to love and that mission he accomplished very successfully! Until we meet again and we will always love you!

He will be greatly missed by his humans: Josh (Dad) and Jojo (Mom) Honaker, Bella (Sister), Lily (Sister), Debi Yount (Grandma), and Sid and Emmie Tolod (Lolo and Lola).
